I’m a Bedford born, self-taught artist with a background as a draughtsman within the property industry.

I have always enjoyed being creative and after hanging up my boots from the Army Reserves, I took up my pencils and brushes again to rediscover my love of drawing and painting. As with many artists, I experimented with a variety of mediums and subjects as I challenged myself and tried to learn my craft.  I found my main interest and inspiration focused on the beauty and variety found in nature and mainly wild animals.

My work is primarily oil on panel, using the traditional painting techniques of the old masters. I find this method allows me the ability to recreate the vibrancy of colour that is abundant in the animal kingdom.

Locally I shown my work in Woburn Art Gallery, but I have also exhibited in shows and events around the South East and South West of the UK
